Nineteen of the Russian's 21 championships have been achieved on hardcourt
A resurgent Medvedev claimed his first championship for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the tournament title decider.
The Russian, a ex- number one, has experienced a torrid season, managing just one win at the big events and undergoing a setback at the American major.
The player's varied form on the ATP Tour - and issues with his serving in especial - led to him falling of the elite rankings and eventually splitting with former mentor Cervara.
Now working with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently improved in the recent weeks - culminating in a hard-fought competitive win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
This represents the player's initial title after the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hardcourt from that period of 2023.
Victory also means Medvedev has achieved twenty-one victories at 21 different events.
"It's the first time I am participating in a competition with my children together, so to get a title is particularly special," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in tribute of my younger daughter Victoria, because the initial championship I got when my child my daughter was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had failed in his previous six title deciders, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
Medvedev's counter-punching strategy and regular outbursts on the tennis court had prompted observers to doubt if his skill to compete at the elite level was finished.
Yet the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and play aggressively, supported by an enhanced serve.
He recovered from a disadvantage in the first set against the tricky Moutet, taking four of the last five points to gain the advantage.
Both players exchanged breaks in the following set before the Frenchman, striving for his initial professional championship, gained dominance to push for a third set.
The opponent rescued 4 initial chances in a tight third set before the Russian won the break to 15 to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev earned victory with a point at the net, with the Frenchman unable to manage a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
